Our Welding Technology

Metal Solutions's welding procedures can serve a wide range of requirements, including:

#01
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)

Manual gas tungsten arc welding usually employs either a normal gas nozzle or a gas lens, which is a circular nozzle incorporating a gas distributor.

#02
Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) is an arc welding process in which the source of heat is an arc formed between consumable metal electrode and the work piece with an externally supplied gaseous shield of gas either inert such as argon and /or helium

#03
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)

Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) is a welding process in which coalescence of metals is produced by heat from an electric arc maintained between the tip of a consumable electrode and the surface of the base material in the joint being welded

#04
Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)

Flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), also known as dual shield welding, is a semi-automatic arc welding process that is similar to metal active gas (MAG) welding. FCAW uses a continuous wire-fed electrode, a constant-voltage welding power supply, and similar equipment to MAG welding.

#05
Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)

Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) is a joining process that involves the formation of an electric arc between a continuously fed electrode and the workpiece to be welded. A blanket of powdered flux surrounds and covers the arc and, when molten, provides electrical conduction between the metal to be joined and the electrode. It also generates a protective gas shield and a slag, all of which protects the weld zone.

#06
Torch Brazing and Soldering

Brazing and soldering torches apply a filler material (solder) between two surfaces to form a joint. They draw fuel from a gas cylinder to produce heat for melting the filler material. Brazing torches operate at higher temperatures and create stronger joints than soldering. Soldering torches operate at lower temperatures than brazing torches, so they're commonly used to join heat-sensitive materials.
